The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising the motoring public to exercise extreme caution while traversing the Bog Walk Gorge at this time, as boulders are falling on to the roadway. A team is now mobilizing to remove one such boulder, which fell on the road this morning, near the area of the Gorge that is referred to as “Pum Rock.”

Manager, Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw says the Agency has noted the occurrence of rock fall along the corridor since last Friday and has been monitoring the situation.

He is urging users of the Bog Walk Gorge to remain vigilant in order to minimize the risks while using the corridor.
