The National Works Agency (NWA) is currently undertaking an approximately $8 million Hot Patching Programme along several roadways in the parish of Trelawny.

Community Relations Officer for the NWA’s Western Region, Janel Ricketts says that the programme targets approximately 3,600 square metres of roadway. Among the areas which will receive attention are sections of the Albert Town to Troy main road, and the stretch of roadway between Falmouth and Springvale.

Ms Ricketts says the programme will target the worst affected sections of these roadways. This latest effort by the NWA is being funded through the Tourism Enhancement Fund and the Road Maintenance Fund.

Motorists are being advised to obey the posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons.
