Ocho Rios Town Roads to be Patched

The National Works Agency (NWA) will shortly be embarking on a multimillion dollar patching programme in the town of Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

Roadways to be patched under the programme include, Development Road, Main Street, Newlyn Street, Evlyn Street, DaCosta Drive and Graham Street.

Approximately 1200 square metres of roadway will be patched using Asphaltic Concrete.

Manager, Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw says the programme, which is valued at $3.8 million comes against the background of damage to the road sections caused by recent rains.

He says final arrangements are now being made for the works to be undertaken through Force Account crews.
