The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising the public that Parry Town Road, in St. Ann, will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday, August 19, 2018, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The closure is to facilitate the relocation of poles by the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPSCo.).
As a result of the works, two intersections will be blocked to ensure the safety of road users. These are the Parry Town Road / Shaw Park Road intersection and the Parry Town Road / Lime Bottom Crossing intersection.
During the time of closure, motorists travelling to Parry Town from Ocho Rios should take the Pimento Walk Road.
Motorists are being reminded to obey the instructions of posted warning signs.
