The National Works Agency is advising the public that a section Skyline Drive, St. Andrew, in the vicinity of the Bob Marley residence is now impassable. This has resulted from a breakaway which occurred following the passage of Hurricane Dean.

Senior Communications Officer at the National Works Agency, Colin Morrison says, persons who wish to get to that area of Skyline Drive, should drive to Barbican, Jack’s Hill Road and onto Skyline Drive and should exercise caution while using this section of the roadway.

He is also advising that construction of a new retaining wall at this location will take sometime and the NWA is now in the process of preparing designs and estimates. Further announcements will be made regarding the road’s re-opening.
