The National Works Agency (NWA) will be implementing traffic changes in Stony Hill, St. Andrew, this Monday, March 3.

Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw says the Stony Hill main road will be reduced to single lane access between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00pm in order to facilitate repaving work.

The single lane will accommodate only motorists traveling from the direction of Manor Park. Motorists traveling from the Golden Spring direction will be re-routed onto Old Stony Hill Road, via the main road from Stony Hill to Parks Road.

Mr. Shaw says the works form part of the NWA’s ongoing effort at rehabilitating some critical corridors in the Kingston Metropolitan Region. Over 96 thousand square meters of roadways are being patched or rehabilitated under this programme.

Motorists using the Stony Hill main road this Monday are being advised to obey the instructions of the flag-persons and posted warning signs.
