Use Alternative Routes, Fallen JPS Pole restricting access north along Constant Spring Road

The National Works Agency (NWA) is urging motorists to use Olivier Road or other alternative routes at this time as a JPS light pole with live wires has fallen across Constant Spring Road. This has resulted in restricted access to areas north of the Constant Spring Police station.

Communication and Customer Services Manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw says that while there is a team at the location working to remove the impediment, it is uncertain when access will be fully restored to that section of the roadway.

He says motorists may opt to use Olivier and Shortwood Roads when traveling southbound towards Half Way Tree. The same route can also be used to get to areas beyond the Constant Spring police station.

Teams from the NWA and the JPSCo continue to work to have the pole removed from the roadway in the shortest possible time.
