The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that the Constant Spring Road/West Kings House Road intersection will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Friday, March 28 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 1. As such there will be no access to and from Constant Spring Road by way of West King’s House Road.

NWA’s Communication and Customer Services Manager, Stephen Shaw explains that the closure is being effected to allow for the completion of sewer works in the vicinity of the Sandy Gully Bridge. He says, to assist with the management of traffic, the driving lanes between Dunrobin Avenue and the Ministry of Justice will be reconfigured to accommodate traffic travelling to and from Half-Way-Tree.

To avoid delays, motorists are being urged to use alternative routes until the intersection is reopened for morning peak traffic on Monday. The NWA apologises for any inconvenience that may result from the traffic change.

The laying of water pipelines and pavement works continue at other locations along Constant Spring Road. Physical works on the US$20 – million project is now 67% complete.
