The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that, over the course of the next two weeks, motorists may experience delays as they traverse Kent Avenue, in the vicinity of the Sandals Montego Bay resort in St. James. This, as the NWA and MBJ Airports Limited execute associated works to facilitate the extension of the Sangster’s International Airport runway. Community Relations Officer for the NWA’s Western Region, Janel Ricketts, says that the works will involve base formation, the installation of kerb walls and the resurfacing of the roadway using Asphaltic Concrete. Motorists are advised to obey the posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons.
