The National Works Agency (NWA) is announcing that, over the course of the next three days, motorists may experience minor delays as they traverse sections of the Hopewell main road in Hanover. This is as the Agency works to upgrade sections of the corridor.

Community Relations Officer for the NWA’s Western Region, Janel Ricketts, says that extensive resurfacing work is currently being undertaken along a section of the roadway between the Round Hill Hotel property and the Hopewell Square.  During the period of work, the targeted section of the roadway will be periodically reduced to single-lane access.

The project, which is valued at approximately $20 million, is being undertaken through the Agency’s Routine Maintenance Programme.

Motorists are being advised to obey the posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
