The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists and pedestrians that an oil spill has taken place along the Mandela Highway, St. Catherine at the intersection of Caymanas Crossing.
Personnel from the Police and the Fire Department are now at scene directing operations and working to have the oil spill removed.
The Police are directing traffic and motorists are advised to approach the area with extreme caution.
