The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that traffic signals at a number of busy intersections in the Corporate Area are now out of service due to a JPSCo power outage.
Senior Communications Officer at the NWA, Ramona Lawson, is advising motorists that under the circumstances, no one has the right of way. She advises that all motorists should stop on approach of junctions that are currently without functioning traffic lights.
The power failure is currently affecting a number of signalized intersections in Half-Way-Tree, Papine, along Hope and Old Hope Roads, Trafalgar and Waterloo Roads.
Signals can only be restored following the reinstatement of power supply.
