The National Works Agency is advising that a section of the Bull Bay main road will be reduced to single lane traffic. The traffic change will impact a section of the westbound carriageway, heading from the direction of Yallahs.

Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the National Works Agency (NWA), Stephen Shaw says that work will commence on Thursday on the section of road, which is located in the vicinity of the Sun Coast Development.

The section of road forms part of the Southern Coastal Highway Improvement Project (SCHIP). Mr. Shaw says that the work is slated to last for one week, during which time a defect to an underpass will be remedied. The work is to be done by China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), the main contractor for the project.

Motorists are being advised to reduce speed and obey posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons during the period of the works.
