A Section of the Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril Westmoreland, to be Closed Intermittently

A section of the Norman Manley Boulevard, Negril Westmoreland, in the vicinity of Wavz Beach, is to be closed intermittently on Monday, August 3, 2015 and Monday, August 10, 2015 between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. each day. The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that the intermittent closure of the roadway is to facilitate the installation of a Box Truss across the Norman Manley Boulevard. The allowable clearance height for through traffic on both days will be reduced to 4.4 meters. The NWA is also advising motorists travelling towards Orange Bay, Hanover or the Negril Round-a-bout in Westmoreland to proceed with caution during the period installation activities is in progress at this location. Pedestrians are also advised to proceed with due care and obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
