The National Work Agency (NWA) is advising motorist and pedestrians that a section of the Tombstone to Luana roadway, St Elizabeth, in the vicinity of the Luana Pumping Station will be intermittently reduced to single lane usage on Sunday, March 29, 2015 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m..
The Agency will be facilitating pipe laying works being carried out by the National Water Commission (NWC). The NWC will be laying twenty meters of 100 mm pipes across the main road.
The laying of additional pipes is expected to provide improved water supply to communities such as Middle Quarters, Point, Craigie and New Holland.
