The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists and pedestrians that a Bus Bay along Constant Spring Road, located above the Constant Spring Post Office and adjacent to the football field has been temporarily closed.
Closure of the Bus Bay is to facilitate repairs to this section of the roadway. The repairs include excavation of the area, reinstatement with granular material and river shingle and paving with Asphaltic Concrete.
The NWA is advising motorists to proceed with caution, obey the instructions of flag persons and should expect minor delays.
In the meantime the NWA is also advising that Hot Mix patching along roadways in Kingston and St. Andrew will resume today, Monday, January 12, 2015.
Roadways being targeted for patching include Hillview Terrace, Duhaney Drive, East Kings House Road, Maxfield Avenue and Waltham Park Road.
