Phase Four projects of the Jamaica Emergency Employment Programme (JEEP) component of the Major Infrastructure Development Programme (MIDP) are nearing completion.

These projects commenced in October 2014 and after six months over ninety nine percent of 69 contracts awarded are substantially completed. Two hundred and fifty seven (257) projects were undertaken. The projects were undertaken in the 63 constituencies.

Each constituency was allocated the sum of J$10 million to be used mainly to rehabilitate road infrastructure works nominated by the community and endorsed by the Member of Parliament.
An additional amount of J$140 million was also allocated as a Contingency Fund, which was used to address additional works identified by each of the fourteen (14) Parish Councils.

Fifty million dollars was also provided for Special Projects which facilitated the rehabilitation of Boone Hall Road, Miller Way (Boone Hall off Road), West Rural St. Andrew, the Glenhope Children's Home Nursery, Roehampton Drive and the Irvine Hall to Cheshire Village sidewalk rehabilitation works in Eastern St. Andrew. Reid’s Piece and Strong Faith Parish Council Roads in Clarendon were also addressed.

Over J$37 million has been spent on Special Projects works which are 80% complete while J$68.9 million has been spent on rehabilitating Parish Council roads which are 63% complete.
Approximately J$634 has been spent on JEEP Phase Four projects.
