The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists to exercise extreme caution when approaching Traffic Signals located at the intersection of the Mandela Highway and Caymanas Crossing. The Traffic Signal is out of service.
A motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of the intersection yesterday afternoon knocked out the NWA wooden pole, two signal heads and signal cables. This has led to the Signals at the intersection being out of service.
Motorists should treat the intersection as a four-way stop and obey the instructions of the Police.
The NWA is working to repair these signals and have the signals back in service in the shortest possible time.
