Roadways in Kingston, St. Andrew to be Spray Patched

Several roadways in Kingston and St. Andrew are now being Spray Patched under the National Works Agency’s 2015/2016 Spray Patching programme.

Spray Patching began on Monday, January 05, 2015 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of January. Ten roadways in Kingston have been selected to be patched during this phase of the programme.

Among the ten roadways are, Langard Avenue/Delacree Avenue, White Hall Avenue, Kings Crescent in Richmond Park, Ripon Road, Windward Road, Hope Road and Woodglen Drive. Approximately 4,750 square metres of patching is to be carried out.

In St. Andrew, patching has commenced along three kilometres of the eighteen kilometres long corridor, between Papine and Bull Bay. Just under 4,800 square metres of this stretch is being patched.

Patching along these roadways is being undertaken by the National Works Agency’s Patching Crews.

The National Works Agency is advising motorists to expect minor delays along roadways where patching is taking place and that they should obey the instructions of flag persons and posted warning signs.
