The National Works Agency, along with Digicel Jamaica Limited in collaboration with Running Events Limited, hereby notifies the public that there will be partial closures on the following roadways from Friday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 7:00 a.m:
- Ocean Boulevard, between West and Princess Streets (northern lanes only)
- Port Royal Street, between West and Princess Streets (southern lanes only)
This is to facilitate the Digicel Imagine 5K Run for Special Needs.
5k Night Run/Walk - (Saturday, October 11, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
Route: Commencing at Digicel Headquarters on 14 Ocean Boulevard, turn left onto Port Royal Street continue to Water Lane, turn right onto Pechon Street, then left onto Harbour Street, left onto King Street, left onto South Parade, right onto West Parade, right onto North Parade, then right onto East Parade continue to Church Street, then left onto Harbour Street, continuing to Higholborn Street through the Breezy Castle Sports Complex, then right onto Port Royal Street, ending at the intersection of Princess and Port Royal Streets.
The public is advised to proceed with caution and observe the instructions of the Police, flagmen and posted warning signs.
