The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that a section of South Camp Road in St. Andrew will be closed tomorrow, Sunday, June 12. The road will be closed in the vicinity of Sabina Park in order to facilitate emergency repairs.
Manager, Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw says that a section of the road has failed and is posing a risk to road users. The NWA will therefore close the affected section of corridor between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00pm.
During the period of the closure, motorists are advised to use alternative routes to bypass the work area. They are also being advised to obey the posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons.
