The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists travelling along the North Coast Highway in the vicinity of Martin’s Primary School in Martins, St. Mary to proceed with caution as a hole that has developed in the middle of the roadway.
According to Communication and Customer Service Managers at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, an assessment of the roadway has been done and estimates submitted to undertake the necessary repairs.
Mr. Shaw added that the section of the roadway remains open to vehicular traffic as it is still safe for motorists to traverse the area provided that they do so with due care.
