The National Works Agency, an Executive Agency of the Government of Jamaica, is seeking suitably qualified individuals for the above-mentioned position.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:-
• Four (4) CXC subjects or equivalent including English and Mathematics, Science and or Building subjects
• At least two (2) years workings experience in road construction/ traffic management environment.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: -
• Competence in operating road marking equipment
• Good oral and communication skills
• Good interpersonal and team building skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: Traffic Supervisor
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS:-
• Install and maintain traffic control devices.
• Carry out inventory and collect any other relevant data as directed.
•Operate small technical equipment and machinery as required.
