Starting today (Monday, August 10) and for the next three days motorists travelling between Clarendon and St. Catherine will be diverted from the Old Harbour Main Road at the Bodles Agricultural Research Station. This is to facilitate repair works to the railway tracks at the location by West Indies Alumina Company (WINDALCO) between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day.

Motorists travelling towards the Old Harbour Town Centre from the direction of Free Town will be redirected onto a service road parallel to the railway tracks to exit onto the Old Harbour Main Road in the vicinity of the St. Dorothy’s National Irrigation compound.

The reverse obtains for motorists travelling from Old Harbour towards Freetown. The diversion may result in minor delays for motorists who are being reminded to obey the instructions of flag persons and all posted warning and directional signs.

The National Works Agency (NWA) expects the works to be completed by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
