St. Ann

The National Works Agency in along with China Harbour Engineering Company Limited hereby notify the public that effective  Monday, September 14, 2015 a section of the the Chalky Hill main road, St. Ann will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for a period of 2 months.   Traffic is being diverted to the detour road adjacent to the work site.

Closure of the roadway is to facilitate the construction of this section of the North South Highway. 
 
The public is advised to proceed with caution and observe the instructions of the flagmen and posted warning signs.

On behalf of China Harbour Engineering Company Limited –contractor for the Jamaica North-South Highway Project, the National Works Agency wishes to advise the motoring public that effective August 11, 2015 Philip Brown Drive in Steer Town, St. Ann will be closed for a period of one (1) month. This is to facilitate the construction of the permanent road diversion as part of the ongoing Jamaica North-South Highway construction works.
