The National Works Agency, along with Cable and Wireless Jamaica Limited hereby notifies the public that the Discovery Bay to Runaway Bay main road will be reduced to single lane traffic on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 and Saturday, September 30, 2017, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
This is in order to facilitate the excavation, installation and connection of fibre optic cable ducts.
Motorists who do not have to use this corridor during the time and dates specified should use an alternative route. The public is further advised to proceed with caution and observe the instructions of flagmen and posted signs.
