The National Works Agency, along with Dr. Lloyd Cole, hereby notifies the public that the northern Carriageway, on Old Hope Road between BNS Liguanea and the Mona Road turn around, will be closed to vehicular traffic between the hours of 8:00 p.m. on Boxing Day, Saturday, December 26, 2015 to 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015.
Alternative Routes:
Vehicles travelling east on Hope Road should turn right onto Old Hope Road, left onto Munroe Road then proceed onto Wellington Drive, then left onto Mona Road and then right at the Mona Road/Old Hope Road turnaround.
Vehicles travelling west on Old Hope Road should turn right onto Hope Boulevard, left at the Roundabout onto Monterey Drive, then left onto Charlemont Drive, left onto Barbican Road then proceed to the Hope Road/Old Hope Road intersection.
This is in order to facilitate the annual Dr. Lloyd Cole’s Christmas Children’s Treat.
The public is advised to proceed with caution and observe the instructions of the flagmen and posted signs.
