Parking is calculated based on the schedule of Off Street Parking Requirement by Land Use:

Hostels for Students 1 Space for every 4 Units plus
Civic Administrations, Office Buildings and Libraries 1 for each 20m2 of floor area inclusive of storerooms plus 1 per unit for staff parking where the building is divided into smaller units
Museums and Art Galleries 1 Space per 30m2 of Public Display Area
Shops, Stores, Supermarkets 1 for each 20m2 of floor area inclusive of storerooms plus 1 space per unit for staff parking where the building is divided into smaller units

Parking for Disabled In all parking areas for developments open to the public consisting of 3-19 spaces at least 1 space; 20 spaces or more- a minimum of 5% of the total number of spaces

 

The NWA includes an administrative cost to recoup part of the cost to offer these services. This administrative cost should be paid before the comments/ recommendations for your application are dispatched.

Access should be located where visibility is best, that is where there is adequate sight distance in both directions of the roadway as well as acceptable road gradient.

a.   Traffic Impact Study – This is required for subdivisions 60 lots and over.     

b.   Surface Drainage Plans and Hydraulic Report.
