Library

The NWA Documentation Centre (Library) functions as the information hub of the agency and supports the information needs of its team members, members of the transportation industry, researchers, students and members of the public.

The Library was launched on July 2, 2001 to support the strategic objectives of the Agency by making accessible information on road and bridge infrastructure and associate works and services.

Resources

The collection includes various formats ranging from Text and Reference Books, Manuals, Laws, Gazettes, Newspaper Clippings, Magazines, Journals, Reports, Feasibility Studies, DVDs (training and major events) Research Papers and Cartographic Materials. The collection spans the following areas:

  • Road/ Highway Planning and Maintenance
  • Bridge Construction & Design
  • Flood Control/ Mitigation
  • Road Design/ Drawings
  • Traffic Management

Opening Hours

Monday - Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Fridays, 8:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Except for public holidays.

Visits may be made by appointment only.

 

Persons will be admitted to use the library upon confirming an appointment with the Librarian. Such person(s) will be permitted read-only access to available materials. Photocopying, printing, binding and Internet access services attract a fee. All services provided with the exception of reading will terminate 30 minutes before the library's closing time.
