The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that effective today, Tuesday, August 02, 2011 the Bog Walk to Natural Bridge main road, St. Catherine, in the vicinity of the Bog Walk Bridge has been closed indefinitely.
Closure of this roadway is due to a breakaway that occurred in the vicinity of the bridge, reducing the roadway to less than a single lane.
The alternative route for motorists travelling from the direction of Natural Bridge or Riversdale towards Bog Walk is via Church Road. The reverse obtains for motorists travelling towards Natural Bridge or Riversdale.
The NWA is advising motorists and other persons not to remove the temporary barriers that have been placed at the site of the breakaway and to obey the posted warning signs.
