Heavy rain blocks road in Trelawny

The National Works Agency is advising motorists that the main road between Duncans and Clarkes Town in Trelawny is now impassable. Persistent rains have left the section of the roadway between mile post three and four inundated.

Motorists wishing to travel from the direction of Duncans to Clarkes Town are being advised to use the route from Rock, through Daniel Town, then to Clarkes Town. The reverse obtains for persons traveling from the direction of Clarkes Town.

The NWA is monitoring the situation and will advise the public of any new developments.
