installing Pedestrian Crossings - Labour Day 2012

The National Works Agency is advising the public that only persons/organizations that have received permission from the Agency should proceed with plans to install Pedestrian Crossings this Labour Day, Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

This is to prevent installation of these Crossings at unsafe and unauthorised locations.

Manger of Communications and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, says that they are legal requirements and specifications to be followed when installing Pedestrian Crossings. 

The National Works Agency supports activities to improve safety on our roads and reminds our customer’s that Labour Day projects should be registered with the National Labour Day Secretariat.
