The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that they may experience delays along Bay Farm Road, St. Andrew, during the next four months.

The delays will result from drainage construction, base course work and paving of the two (2) kilometre length of roadway with Asphaltic Concrete. These works form part of the Bay Farm Road rehabilitation project and is being undertaken through the Jamaica Development Infrastructure Programme at a cost of just under $181 million.

This project is expected to be completed by December 2011.

The NWA is advising motorists who wish to avoid the possibility of delays along this corridor to choose suitable alternative routes.

Motorists are also asked to obey posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
