The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists and pedestrians that a section of East Kings House Road, located between Halifax Avenue and Barbican Drive will be closed this Sunday, June 29, 2014, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
This temporary closure is to facilitate emergency repairs to a failed section of the roadway.
The NWA is advising that the alternative route for motorists travelling in the direction of Barbican Road is East Kings House Road, right onto Paddington Terrace, left onto Liguanea Avenue and then left or right onto Barbican Road. The reverse obtains for motorists travelling from the direction of Barbican Road towards East Kings House Road.
The NWA is also advising motorists and pedestrians to proceed with caution and obey the posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
