The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that it has commenced Phase 4 of the Agency’s islandwide Spray Patching programme along major corridors in the Kingston Metropolitan Region.
Spray Patching activities began on Thursday, February 20, 2014 and these are scheduled to be completed in three (3) weeks.
Among the twenty two (22) roadways to be patched in Kingston are Kings House Avenue, Liguanea Drive, Richings Avenue, August Town Road, Hermitage Road, Montclair Drive, Clifton Boulevard, Cassava Piece, White Hall Avenue, Stillwell Road and Pembroke Hall Drive.
Patching along these roadways is being undertaken by the National Works Agency’s Force Account Teams and is expected to cost $5.24 million which is being funded through the Road Maintenance Fund.
These Teams are to undertake 5, 000 M2 of patching during the three (3) week period.
The NWA is asking motorists who travel along these corridors to obey posted warning signs and the instruction of flag persons while patching is in progress.
