The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that a section of the Stone Wall roadway in Western Hanover has been reduced to single lane access.

This roadway falls along the corridor leading from Riley to Glasgow and is the main access point into the town of Lucea for road users travelling from the direction of Dias.

Community Relations Officer for the NWA’s Western Region Janel Ricketts, says that the roadway has been reduced to single lane due to a landslip which occured following persistent rainfall in the area. She says that the NWA team has assessed the situation and is currently working to restore full access to the corridor.

Motorists are being advised to exercise caution in traversing the corridor.
