Attention! Motorists, Pedestrians & Business Interests of King Street, Ocean Boulevard, Orange Street, Church Street and it's Environs ... The National Works Agency will be undertaking rehabilitative works along King Street (downtown Kingston) between the Kingston Parish Church and Ocean Boulevard. The repairs will commence on Monday, January 18, 2010 and will continue for sixteen weeks until Friday, May 14, 2010. Works will be carried out daily, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing beyond regular working hours. During the period of works vehicular movement and parking along King Street will be restricted. Traffic will be diverted onto off roads along King Street depending on the section of the roadway being worked on. Please obey the instructions of all flag persons and posted warning signs during this period. We ask for your patience and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience these road repairs may cause.We will endeavour to keep these to a minimum while the repair works are in progress.
