Harbour Street and Port Royal Street

The National Works Agency hereby notices the public of the closure of Harbour Street and Port Royal Street, Kingston on Monday, June 13, 2022 and Tuesday, June 14, 2022. The roads will be closed between Orange Street and King Street from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on both days. This closure is being done to facilitate a filming exercise in the vicinity of the Jamaica Police Co-op Credit Union. Motorists from the direction of Marcus Garvey Drive/Water Lane wishing to access Michael Manley Boulevard should turn right

Ocean Boulevard

The National Works Agency along with the Main Event Entertainment Group Limited hereby notify the public that  Ocean Boulevard between Church Street and Nethersole Place will be closed to vehicular traffic  from Friday, October 26 at 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and Sunday, October 28, 2018. This is in order to facilitate the Food & Drink Festival – Meet Street Event.

Traffic Changes:
Orange Street will be converted to two-way traffic between Port Royal Street and Ocean Boulevard.  This is to facilitate access and egress from Ocean Towers.

King Street

The National Works Agency, along with Rayton Electric Commercial Equipment Limited, hereby notifies the public that a section of Kings Street, Down Town, Kingston, in the vicinity of KFC will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday, August 6, 2017 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

This is in order to facilitate the installation of a air-conditioning unit.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe the instructions of Police Officers.

Ocean Boulevard

The National Works Agency, along with Promo Biz Limited, hereby notifies the public that a section of Ocean Boulevard between Church Street and Nethersole Place will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday, August 6, 2017 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight.

Alternative Route:
Ocean Boulevard can be accessed from Church Street, Kings Street, West Avenue or at the intersection of Port Royal Street and Ocean Boulevard.

This is in order to facilitate a Guinness Greatness Promotion event.

The National Works Agency, along with Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, hereby notifies the public that Ocean Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic from Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. to Monday, 2017 August 07 at 12:00 midnight.

This is in order to facilitate an Independence Grand Market and Fireworks.

Princess Street

The National Works Agency, along with Jwerks Interactive Media in collaboration with CARIMED, hereby notifies the public, a section of Princess Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, August 26, 2017 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Alternate route:
Motorist wishing to access Princess Street are being advised to use Orange Street.

Several in Kingston

The National Works Agency, along with Guardian Group, hereby notifies the public that the following roadways in St. Andrew will be reduced to single lane traffic on Saturday, November 5, 2016 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

South Camp Road, Marescaux Road and North Street

The National Works Agency, along with Kingston College, in collaboration with Running Events Limited, hereby notifies the public that on Sunday, May 22, 2016 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., the following roadways will be intermittently reduced to single lane traffic.

Route:
Commencing on South Camp Road at the intersection with North Street, continue onto Camp Road towards Up Park Camp, then turn left onto Marescaux Road, continue to National Heroes Circle, turn left onto East Street, then left onto North Street, ending at Kingston College.

Knutsford Boulevard between Dominica Drive and Barbados Avenue

The National Works Agency, along with Jamaica Property Company Limited, hereby notifies the public that one lane of Knutsford Boulevard between  Dominica Drive and Barbados Avenue will be closed on Sunday, December 5, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  

This closure is to facilitate the removal of two condensing units from the roof of the Sagicor Bank Building.

The motoring public is advised to proceed with caution and observe the instructions of the Police, flag persons and posted warning signs.
